Borosilicate Lamp-working, also know as glassblowing:

HANDS ON class w/ instructor/apprentice demonstration and assistance.

In this beginner glassblowing class, we start with cold borosilicate rods and heat them using a bench torch. Students are taught essential fundamentals and how to properly manipulate molten glass into either sculptural objects or functional glass art. In this class you will be pushed to think outside the box, and to create things you never knew possible! We will work on basic moves and fundamentals of flame-working, making several projects throughout the class. All finished glass pieces are the students to treasure forever!

GROUP MELT (2HR) $120 ea

Grab your partner or best friend and come out and melt some glass! This class is for people that are craving a new, creative experience in Casper, Wyoming! Get a sneak peak to a new medium and take home all your and instructor’s creations!

PLEASE NOTE: This class is project based only and does not cover fundamentals of glassblowing. Beginner Intro to Glass 101 (4hrs) is highly recommended, but not required.

*Couples Melt! (2.5HR) $225 Per Couple

Couples Melt! $225 per couple Create one-of-a-kind glass pendents with your partner or best friend! Couples Melt is 2.5 hours and project based; you will cover safety, get a small understanding of basic fundamentals and create something awesome you can keep forever! We send you home with any instructor/assistant creations along with a 100% hemp goodie bag w/coupons, stickers, pins & patches from Us & Platte Hemp Company! Class size: 2ppl min - 8ppl max

TWISTY CANE AND COLOR TECH (2.5hr) $165

Making your art beautiful is what this class is all about! We will talk about glass colors & how flame setting and chemistry effects them. Talk about what colors like to boil & how to encase them, which ones are buttery smooth and which ones are staples in the glassblowing community. Class is one on one with a master instructor to give you the attention you need!

What you get- the knowledge needed to start a successful glassblowing adventure of your own without wasting a bunch of time making common mistakes! Torch time is the focus here but we will talk about the important things too.

PENDENTS & BAILS 101 (2.5HR) - $165

Get your pendants and bails looking fantastic in this fun class! We will focus on making flowing connections for the bail, and show you a fun mushroom bead you can make all day! We will talk about proper color application, all the best colors and pulling color stringers for the mushroom beads. Get your proper heating and timing down in this class

PENDENTS 201 (3.5HR) - $200

Pendants part 2 goes HARD!! We get into making more complex and ever cooler pendent variations. Some sculpting and decorative work will be covered, as well as intro to bridgework! Get ready .. because this one’s getting crazy!!

MARBLES 101 (2HR) $165

Lost your marbles? We will help you make more!!

Everything marbles! Show & tell about how to use a marble mold properly. All the tips and tricks you need to make round marbles that roll instead of lumpy marbles that sit ?

MARBLES 201 Implosion Explosion!

Compressions Expression! 2 hr - $150

Now we’re talking marbles! This is where things get really interesting! We will explore the possibilities of marble complexity, outside decorations such as raking and dots, implosions and inner compressions

FUMING 101 (2HR) - $165

9999 Canadian silver & 24K Gold! Our glassblower will show you how to lay this classic technique, add color without adding color. Color changing? Yeah we do that!!

FUMING 201 (2HR) - $165

A lot of flame chemistry going on here!! Ill show you how to get those purples popping & we’ll talk about the secrets of “crystal growth” ?

Day Studio Torch & Tool Rental Starting at

SAFETY - We provide all necessary safety gear but these are the things you should be aware of before melting glass

• No open toed shoes

• Don’t wear your Sundays best here! There is a chance of dirtying clothing

• Long sleeves is preferable, all cotton is best

• No plastic clothing, it melts and then burns the skin
